A Celiac’s Honest Wedding Experience Yesterday, I attended a wedding at The Lake House in beautiful Niagara. As someone living with celiac disease, there’s always a layer of anxiety that comes with dining out — especially at weddings where you don’t control the menu. When I first looked at the menu, I noticed only a few “gluten-friendly” options listed. As we know, “gluten-friendly” doesn’t always mean celiac safe , so I made sure to speak with my server.
